FS710 series- 802.1x auth with EAPOL passthrough When 802.1x authentication is executed, EAPOL packets is sent from supplicant. However if the switch does not support EAPOL passthrough, EAPOL and EAP packets is forwarded to Authenticator. As a result, authentication does not start. FS710 series supports EAPOL passthrough, so it is suitable as HUB when using 802.1x auth with EAP.
